Accident in Balangoda claims the life of an 8 year old

Colombo (News 1st) - A motor accident in the Nanperiyal area in Balangoda claimed the life of an 8-year-old. According to the Police, the accident occurred when a three-wheeler veered off the road and toppled.  The 8-year old that was thrown out of the three-wheeler at the time of the accident suffered serious injuries and was admitted to the Balangoda hospital. However, the child passed away shortly afterward The driver of the three-wheeler has been arrested in connection to the accident.
