Colombo (News 1st): Sri Lankan Health Authorities are yet to identify the illness of the Lion Air passenger who was admitted to the Infectious Diseases Hospital after a plane made an emergency landing at the Bandaranaike International Airport early yesterday (January 13). A source from the Negombo Hospital said, due to the lack of facilities the bodies of the two dead passengers would be sent to Indonesia without performing a post-mortem examination. Another Lion Air Passenger who was in critical condition is still receiving treatment at the ICU of the Infectious Diseases Hospital. Respective samples were sent to the National Medical Research Institute and preliminary examinations proved he does not have any disease for which tests were performed.
