Drug trafficker sentenced to life in prison

Colombo (News 1st): Colombo High Court Judge Gihan Kulatunga today (January 8) sentenced a drug trafficker to life in prison. The defendant was identified as Lakshman Fernando alias Chandra, a resident from Borella.
He was arrested by the Police Narcotics Bureau on the 22nd of June 2000 from Borella for the possession of 25.25 grams of heroin.
