Colombo (News 1st): The Postmortem examinations of Air Force personnel who died in a plane crash in Haputale are due to be held today (January 4). The bodies of the Air Force personnel are currently placed at the Badulla Hospital.
The Government Analyst and the Bandarawela Magistrate inspected the scene of the crash yesterday (January 3). The magistrate ordered to submit an investigation report following the post mortem examination on the four victims.
Meanwhile, the Air Force has appointed a committee to investigate the incident. A Y-12 aircraft yesterday crashed in the Icepilla area of Thambapillai Mawatha in Haputale.
