Two suspects flee police custody in Panadura

Colombo (News 1st) - Two suspects that were receiving treatment at the Panadura base hospital under Police protection have fled the hospital. According to the Police, one of the suspects was arrested for stealing spare parts from vehicles while the other had been arrested on a drug charge. The Police added that they were hospitalized due to a sudden medical condition. Search operations have been launched to apprehend the suspects.
