Rajitha Senaratne to be transferred to Prison Hospital

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A special unit has been deployed to accompany Dr Rajitha Senaratne to the Prison Hospital from a private hospital in Narahenpita. A senior official at the Prison's Department stated that following one more report on his health Dr Rajitha Senaratne would be placed under his custody. The private hospital has been informed to discharge him and make preparations to transfer him to the Prison Hospital. Our correspondent stated that the unit has arrived at the private hospital to accompany the former minister. Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne was ordered to be remanded until tomorrow following the inspection made by the Colombo Additional Magistrate Salani Perera at the private hospital in Narahenpita.
