Somawathiya Sungavila road reopened

The Somawathiya Sungavila Road which was closed for around a week, due to floods, was reopened today (December 27). Assistant Director of the Polonnaruwa District Disaster Management Centre Upul Nanayakkara said the road was opened for heavy vehicles as well. Meanwhile, the Road Development Authority states, the assessment of the damage to roads caused by floods and landslides has begun already.
