Singaporean Govt. has agreed to extradite Arjuna Mahendran: Thilanga Sumathipala

Colombo (News 1st): State Minister of Technology and Innovations Thilanga Sumathipala says that there is a possibility of bringing down Former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran in a few weeks time. The Minister expressed these views during an inspection tour in Anuradhapura yesterday (December 26). The State Minister noted that taking the legal terms into consideration the Singaporean government has agreed to extradite Arjuna Mahendran. However, he noted that the case against Mahendran cannot be continued until he is produced before the court. Sumathipala went onto note that when they produce Mahendran before court as the main suspect of the Central bank bond scam, he will be found guilty and at that point, they will have to think about his allies.
