Health condition prevents the arrest of Rajitha Senaratne

Colombo (News 1st) - Deputy Solicitor General Dileepa Peiris informed court today that Dr. Rajitha Senaratne, against whom a warrant has been issued, is yet to be arrested. The former minister is currently receiving in-house treatment at a private hospital in Narahenpita. DSG Dileepa Peiris informed the Colombo Chief Magistrate's court that Rajitha Senaratne was not arrested based on medical recommendations stating that he is not in a healthy condition to provide a statement. The DSG added that security has been beefed up around the hospital in which the former minister is receiving treatment.
