Luxury bus crashes into wall at Veeramunai

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A luxury bus traveling from Ampara to Trincomalee had an accident this morning. Our correspondent said that the accident occurred along the Ampara Karthive road at Veeramunai. The bus had veered off the road and crashed into a nearby wall. Police suspect that the accident could have been caused by the driver losing control of the vehicle due to the rainy weather conditions. The driver and the conductor of the bus sustained minor injuries and were admitted to the Ampara Base hospital.
