Four sluice gates of Iranamadu tank opened - DMC

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The Disaster Management Centre states that four sluice gates of the Iranamadu tank have been opened due to the incessant rains in the Kilinochchi district. Assistant Director of the DMC, Pradeep Kodippili requests the general public around that area to take special caution. Meanwhile, the Department of Meteorology states that showers or thundershowers could be expected after 2.00 pm today (December 14) in the Sabaragamuwa, Western and North Eastern provinces and in the Galle district.
