NEC names Waruna Priyantha Liyanage as new MP

Colombo (News 1st) - Waruna Priyantha Liyanage has been appointed to the Parliamentary seat left vacant following the demise of UPFA MP Ranjith De Zoysa. The next in line in the preferential votes list from the Ratnapura District following the 2015 General Elections is Waruna Liyanage. The announcement was made by the National Elections Commission via an Extra-Ordinary Gazette.
