Mrs. World returns to Sri Lanka

Colombo (News 1st): Caroline Jurie, who was crowned Mrs.World at a pageant held in the United States of America, returned to the island this morning (December 10). Our correspondent said a large crowd gathered at the airport to welcome her. Caroline Jurie was crowned Mrs.World 2020 at a pageant which was held in Las Vegas this week. She overcame 51 other contestants to claim the top spot. Sri Lanka claimed this victory after a lapse of 35 years. Previously, Rosie Senanayake was crowned Mrs. World in 1984.
