NEC to hold discussion with party secretaries tomorrow

Colombo (News 1st): The National Elections Commission will hold discussions with Secretaries of Political Parties tomorrow (December 4). Commissioner-General of the National Elections Commission Saman Sri Ratnayake said the Party Secretary or a representative must attend the meeting which will commence at 10 AM tomorrow. He went on to note, the discussions will be on amending the cash bonds for elections, campaign finances, and election spending as well. He stressed the meeting will take place based on the proposal put forward to Parliament on amending election laws.
