Several top officials meet President Gotabaya Rajapaksa

COLOMBO (News 1st) The High Commissioner of Canada and the visiting Special Envoy of the Chinese President met with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today(December 02). The Canadian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka David McKinnon met with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat this morning. While the two engaged in friendly discussion, the High Commissioner extended the best wishes of the Canadian Government to President Rajapaksa. Meanwhile, the Special envoy of Chinese President and Asian Affairs Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China Wu Jianghao met the President at the Presidential Secretariat today. He also met Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday and discussed a number of issues including the Hambantota port.
