Earth embankment collapse claims 2 lives

Colombo (News 1st) - Two people died last night after an earth embankment collapsed onto a house in the Udapathwala areas in Walapane, Nuwara Eliya. Rescue workers were able to recover the remains of a girl this morning and operations continued in 3 others who had been inside the house at the time of the incident. The remains of another woman were discovered earlier today. Police and Army personnel are continuing their search.  The recovered bodies are to be taken to the Walapane Hospital following the magisterial inquiry.
