Cabinet paper to provide political freedom: Minister Janaka Bandara Tennakoon

Colombo (News 1st): Minister of State Administration, Internal Affairs, Provincial Council and Local Government Janaka Bandara Tennakoon expressed the following views in Badulla today (November 30). Minister Janaka Bandara Tennakoon said when the previous government took away the rights of officers in the development sector it was a huge injustice. He added that the President and the Prime Minister informed them about this during their first cabinet meeting and that he will present a cabinet paper to give them their political freedom. He noted that they will work as a government to ensure the political rights of everyone. The Minister made these statements following religious observances in the Rangiri Dambulu Rajamaha Viharaya.
