Uniform vouchers to be distributed by the 2nd week of January

COLOMBO(News 1st) - Minister of Education Dullas Alahapperuma made a statement about uniforms to school students. Dullas Alahapperuma, Minister of Education, Sports and Youth Affairs: "School vacation season starts tomorrow (November 29) and uniform vouchers were due to be distributed tomorrow. I apologize for the delay. I personally believe the provision of vouchers instead of uniform material is more practical. We hope to give away uniform vouchers by the second week of January next year. Yesterday we obtained cabinet approval in this regard."
