Do not be misled by people who claim they have ties with the President : PMD

COLOMBO(News 1st) - The President's Media Division said it received reliable reports with evidence to claim that certain individuals and groups are attempting to exploit the public by using various means to falsify that they have close contact with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. The PMD notes that such individuals or groups claim they have close ties with the president to deceive and mislead the public with false promises stating that they can provide assistance to secure positions, appointments and tenders. The PMD said President Rajapaksa's policy is to always follow the accepted procedure and no one can influence him to deviate from the standard protocols. Therefore, the Presidential Secretariat kindly advises the public not to be fooled by such fraudsters adding Strict legal action will be taken against those who use the President's name to mislead the public.
