Colombo (News 1st):  Venerable Elle Gunewansha Thero noted that they will not give more than a year’s grace period for a government, to rectify any errors. He added that the government should be able to take the right path.

The Thero made these comments participating at the occasion when Minister Bandula Gunawardena assumed duties as the Minister of Mass Media and Information.

The Thero stressed that the country could not be reclaimed if it’s failed again. Commenting on international treaties, he said that international treaties are seriously threatening the country and that they need to exercise caution and restraint when signing agreements.
