We will focus on winning SLPP as a whole: Prasanna Ranathunga

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Bala mandala meeting of the SLPP Katana seat was held yesterday (November 25). Prasanna Ranatunga, Minister of Tourism and Aviation noted that Mattala Airport which was constructed by Mahinda Rajapaksa was used to store rice by the former government. He added that the previous government did an assessment on the losses regarding the construction of the airport, however, the reports never came light. Minister further added that they have ascertained about 11 ministers who were engaged in a number of corrupted activities, including the bond scam itself. He stated that they do not seek political revenge, however, he added that they are obliged to discover those who misused public funds. He went on to note that the general election will be held within 4-5 months and they are focused on how to win SLPP as a whole rather than focusing on individuals.
