COLOMBO(News 1st) – Police Media Spokesperson, SSP Ruwan Gunasekara stated that a list of names has been sent to airport Immigration and Emigration officials restricting overseas travel for 704 CID personnel.

Police Media Spokesperson, SSP Ruwan Gunasekara stated that the list had been sent by the Director of the CID.

In addition, the director has informed the Immigration and Emigration Department to notify him if any CID officer seeks to travel overseas.

The Police Media Spokesperson added that if any police officer intends to trave overseas he/she would have to seek authorization from the secretary to the ministry.
