This Government will not sign the MCC agreement - Wimal

COLOMBO(News 1st) - Minister of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises Development, Industry and Supply, Wimal Weerawansa assumed duties today. The Minister shared that they would not sign the Millenium Challenge Corporation under any circumstance. Wimal Weerawansa was the first person to reveal details of an office of the Millenium Challenge Corporation within Temple Trees. His revelations were later found to be true and accurate. Although we do not agree with Wimal Weerawansa on a number of matters and have at times criticized his conduct and vice versa, we are proud of his stance against the MCC compact. Every Sri Lankan should be proud of this stance. The entire country would undoubtedly agree with the critical stance against the MCC put forward by Wimal Weerawansa.
