43 Malaria cases in 2019, a drop compared to recent years

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Forty-three Malaria patients were reported so far this year. Dr Prasad Ranaweera, the Director of the National Anti-Malaria Unit said, however, the figure is a reduction compared to the previous years. In 2016, the World Health Organization certified the country as malaria-free.
