7000 appeals against 2019 electoral register

Colombo (News 1st) - The National Elections Commission notes that they have received over 7000 appeals regarding the 2019 electoral resigner. Commissioner General Saman Sri Rathnayake noted that these appeals will be taken up for consideration at the district level. He added that the NEC plans to certify the 2019 electoral register by the 31st of December.
