We are happy with the victory we secured : Mahesh Senanayaka

Colombo (News 1st): Another presidential candidate that grabbed the attention of everyone this year, was General Mahesh Senanayaka, who obtained 49,655 votes. News 1st spoke to General Mahesh Senanayaka, and this was what he had to say:

"I thank everyone who placed their confidence in our team and voted for the light bulb. Our team never gathered around a single individual. We joined as a team based on an opinion. We are happy with the victory we secured. Our party together with more leaders will contest the upcoming general election and provincial council elections, in a manner that would cover all electorates in the country. Stand in front of a television to see the winner. And stand in front of the mirror to see the loser. In the near future, you yourself will then understand who the real loser is and who the real winner is."
