Wimals warning sends chills across media

Colombo (News 1st): Speaking at a Press Conference yesterday, Wimal Weerawansa revealed that he was aware of plans to attack a media network "supportive of Sajith Premadasa", and place the responsibility on their camp. He said this while addressing a Press Conference yesterday (November 11). "I am revealing this so that this type of thing can be stopped", he said. The revelation sent chills through the media fraternity, as it was the first time such a plot was openly revealed in recent times. He also added that there was another plan afoot to abduct or attack a person who was critical of Gotabhaya Rajapakse.
