Federal Register of the US released; Gotabaya Rajapaksa still a US citizen?

COLOMBO (News 1st):- Minister Harin Fernando has just posted a tweet regarding the citizenship of Gotabaya Rajapaksa. The tweet reads: The Federal Register denouncing the individuals of their U.S Citizenship released with Nandasena Gotabhaya Rajapksha's name, not in it. Gotabaya Rajapaksa will remain a citizen of the USA and will not be able to function as President even if he is elected into office. News 1st independently perused the reports filed by the Inland Revenue Service in the American Federal Register that lists persons who renounced US citizenship in the 3rd quarter of 2019. However, in our search, we could not find the name of Mr Gotabaya Rajapaksa, as of the time of this report.
