"Everything is limited to their family" - Naveen Dissanayake speaks on Gotabaya's presidential run

COLOMBO (News 1st):- Speaking at a public gathering held in Avissawella, the National Organizer of the UNP, Minister Naveen Dissanayake said:

"Now a case was filed against Gotabaya Rajapaksa stating he cannot run for the presidency. When the decision was pending they put forward another standby candidate. Do you remember that? Chamal was put forward on stand by. Do they have any shame? Everything is limited to their family. This is the difference between them and us. Pay attention. By some chance, if the flower bud comes into power, then automatically the Rajapaksa's will be the ones who will be coming into power. Who is the speaker? Chamal Rajapaksa, Who is the president? Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Who is the Prime Minister? Mahinda Rajapaksa. Who is the Finance Minister? The Minister of Economic Reforms? Basil Rajapaksa. If there will be any young blood in this, it would be Namal Rajapaksa. He will come forward as the Minister of Ports. The entire group has grown old. But it's not the same story here" 

He further said that although people reprimand and level allegations against Ranil Wickremesinghe that he was the one who built this UNP along with Minister Sajith Premadasa now emerging as the presidential candidate of the party. The Minister further adds that he was brought forward as the Presidential candidate despite a number of obstacles.
