8 Brigadiers promoted to Major Generals

Colombo (News 1st): 8 Brigadiers have been promoted to the rank of Major General. Brigadiers J.C. Gamage, K.N.S. Kotuwegedara, Jayanath Jayaweera, K.H.P. Fernando and M.D. Wijesundara have been promoted to the rank of Major General. Army Spokesperson Major General Sumith Atapattu said that Brigadiers AS Hewawitharana, BAL Ratnayake and SS Waduge have also been promoted to the rank of Major General.
