National Election Commission reverses ITN ban

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The NEC reversed its decision yesterday (November 04) to ban political programming on the state-owned Independent Television Network or ITN. A statement bearing the signature of the country's Elections Commission Chief to the Chairperson of ITN noted this decision was taken after considering the views expressed by many factions.
