Increase of eye patients island-wide : Government advises to be cautious

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Health states that there has been an increase in the number of eye patients reported island-wide. Deputy Director of the National Eye Hospital, Mrs Monika Wijeratne said that the public should follow the instructions given by the health authorities to prevent the spread of the disease. Dr Monika Wijeratne informs the public to seek medical attention immediately if tears, redness, tingling, and pain in the eyes occur.
