Wildlife monitoring officers to commence work-to-rule action

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The wildlife monitoring officers are due to begin a work-to-rule trade union action in protest of an issue with incentives and benefits. President of the wildlife monitoring officers association, R. S. S. Ranawaka issued a warning that the trade union action could result in the hampering of eradication of wild elephants from villages and various rackets controlled by operations. When News 1st inquired about the matter from the Director-General of the Wildlife Conservation Department, Chandana Suriyabandara he said that they are currently working on providing solutions for their issues.
