Suspect sentenced to death for drug posession and racketeering

Colombo (News 1st) - A suspect who was indicted on charges of posession of heroin (9.06g) and racketeering was sentenced to death today by Colombo High Court Judge Gihan Kulatunga.
The suspect a 38 year old father of two and a resident of Rajagiriya was arrested by the Colombo Crimes division on the 14th of May 2017.
The suspect had been previously arrested for posession of heroin and marijuana as well.
