Organized criminal Ranala arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Organised criminal, heroin smuggler and member of an extortion gang, Ranala Dileepa Wellampitiya had been arrested by the Special Task Force in the Nagahamulla area. According to the police, he was arrested in the morning today (October 27), along with a foreign-manufactured revolver and an air pistol. According to the Special Task Force, they handed over the 29-year-old resident of Nagahamulla to the Wellampitiya Police and he will be produced before the Hulftsdorp Magistrate today.
