COLOMBO (News 1st):- Presidential candidate of the "Nawa Sihala Urumaya" Sarath Manamendra spoke about his policies at a media briefing. He says that all governments which were elected have already made every person living in this country a debtor of Rs. 538,000 and that in order to take this country out of danger the agriculture sector needs to be brought and the economy needs to be strong. He further says that fertilizer should be given free and cut off the debt along with rice being exported. Manamendra also said that France has begun to make pepperine oil from our black pepper of which one litre would be Rs. 75,000 with a product cost of only Rs. 2400. He added that if this oil could be made in this country and be exported that a big scale of foreign revenue could be earned. He further mentioned about his policy on National Security as well.
"The main planners of the 21st April attack should be arrested. But the government is not doing that. But if the people of this country give me the power, I will arrest them in 24 hours. That is my biggest expectation. I'm asking for the power because I have a plan for National Security. I'm a former soldier of the Sri Lanka Air Force. I will tighten up the national security within a month. I brought down the Israel High Commission to the island as well. I brought in the Mossad to this country. I will adjoin our tri forces with the Mossad and I will put an end to fascism"
