Biased actions of certain nations

Colombo (News 1st): Robert Destro, US Assistant Secretary of State of the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, of the House of Foreign Affairs, has provided testimony regarding the countries in South Asia including Sri Lanka. In the testimony, the US Assistant Secretary of State has made a statement regarding the appointment of the Army Commander in Sri Lanka. It would be constructive to note that while the Assistant Secretary of State waxes eloquent about allegations against the Army Commander, the US remains curiously silent about others who also face similar allegations. This suggests a certain bias that is far removed from sound and internationally accepted democratic principals. It is thus unbecoming of certain states to engage in such blatantly partial behaviour.
