Garbage issue prevails : CMC faces the crisis

Colombo (News 1st): The Colombo Municipal Council is facing a crisis as it does not have a designated location to dispose of garbage and waste collected from Colombo. Directress of the CMCs Recycling Division Sylvester Yogaraj said the matter is being discussed at length. The crisis arose after the Ministry of Megapolis and Western Development decided to suspend accepting Colombo's garbage at the Aruwakkaru Sanitary Landfill site after Colombo's Mayoress made a comment to a newspaper referring to the site as a failed project.
