Colombo (News 1st): Further examination of evidence in the case filed against former Minister Basil Rajapaksa and three others for the criminal misappropriation of Rs. 2991 million from the Divineguma Development Department, was fixed for November 7th by Colombo High Court Judge Sashi Mahendran.

The order was made as High Court Judge R. Gurusinghe who took up the case thus far, was on leave today.

The Attorney General filed the case under 05 separate indictments for using Rs 2991 million for the distribution of steel roofing sheets to Divineguma beneficiaries.
