Landslide warning for 3 divisional secretariat areas in Badulla

Colombo (News 1st) - Landslide warnings have been issued to 3 divisional secretariat areas in the Badulla district due to the inclement weather being experienced in the area. Asst. Director of the Disaster Management Center Pradeep Kodippili noted that landslide warnings have been issued to the areas of Haldumulla, Ella and Passara. According to the Met. Department Showers or thundershowers will occur over most parts of the island after 2.00 p.m. Fairly heavy falls between 75-100 mm can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western and Southern provinces.
