Colombo (News 1st) – A number of foreign election observers have arrived in the country, ahead of the Presidential election.

The elections commission states that they have extended invitations to 4 teams of foreign election observers to take part in the presidential election. The Commission noted that in addition to the observers that have already arrived, another team is scheduled to arrive in the country in the coming days.
