SLPP secures majority of seats in Elpitiya PS

Colombo (News 1st): Official results of the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha election have been released.
The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna has secured 17 seats after obtaining a total of 23,372 votes.
The United National Party secured 7 seats after obtaining 10,113 votes.
The UPFA has secured 3 seats after obtaining 5,273 votes while, JVP has secured 2 seats after obaining 2, 435 votes.
