Meenagaya train knocks down three elephants

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The Meenagaya train plying from Batticoloa to Colombo Fort has derailed in the area between Welikanda and Punani. The Anuradhapura railway control room states that the derailment occurred when three elephants collided with the train. One of the elephants is reportedly stuck in the train.
