1. Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara noted that Crimes OIC and Administration OIC of Fort Police have been interdicted for sending a false letter on national security to hotels in Colombo.

2. Two suspects have been arrested while in possession of 360 foreign-manufactured cigarettes in Manpuriya, Norochcholai.

3. Three suspects including underworld gang leader Bloemendhal Sanka were remanded until the 22nd of this month by Colombo Additional Magistrate Kanchana Nerannada.

4. A 24-year-old male was shot dead at Jampettah Street in Colombo.
