Singapore considers Sri Lanka's request to extradite Arjuna Mahendran

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Sri Lankan Government's request for the extradition of former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran is being considered by the Singapore Attorney General's Department. State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne, the Coordinating Officer to the Attorney General said the request had been received by the Singapore AG's Department. The document requesting for the extradition of Arjuna Mahendran comprised of 21,000 pages and it was dispatched to the Sri Lankan High Commission in Singapore through the Foreign Ministry.
