Propoganda for Elpitiya PS election to conclude at midnight

Colombo (News 1st): All propaganda for the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha Election will conclude at midnight tonight (October 8). Galle District Returning Officer Somaratne Vidanapathirana speaking to News 1st said all measures are in place to conduct the elections for the Local Government Body on the 11th of October. 47 Election Centres had been set up across the Elpitiya and Pitigala Police jurisdiction areas. Galle District Returning Officer Somaratne Vidanapathirana said a special security program will be in place in those areas when polling is underway. Postal voting for the Elpitiya PS took place on the 27th of September and 04th of October, where 1192 people were qualified for postal voting.
