Explosion at the Aruwakkaru Sanitary Landfill

Colombo (News 1st): Sri Lanka Police said a tank used to fill gas at the Aruwakkaru Sanitary Landfill Site exploded last night (October 8). No one was injured in the explosion.
A resident speaking to News 1st said the incident took place at around 09 PM yesterday, and a police complaint was filed afterward.
Following the incident, more than 28 Garbage Trucks which reached the Aruwakkaru Sanitary Landfill site were forced to turn back.
