50Kg of Heroin worth over Rs. 50Mn seized

Colombo (News 1st): Police have seized 50 Kg of Heroin inside a luxury SUV at the Athurugiriya exit of the Southern Expressway. Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said the police officers attached to the Expressway division arrested two suspects. The Police media spokesperson further noted The value of the stock is estimated to be in excess of Rs. 50 Million.
