Chamal Rajapaksa enters the presidential race

Colombo (News 1st): Chamal Rajapakse has placed bonds for the Presidential Election as an independent candidate under the Sri Lanka Nidahas Podujana Sandanaya. According to a Senior Parliament Spokesperson, Chamal Rajapakse has retrieved documents proving that he was a member of Parliament, the day before yesterday (October 2). According to the Spokesperson, he has retrieved letters of confirmation from Parliament Ministers'Sarath Weerasekara, Rajeeva Wijesinghe and several others, with the hopes of entering the Presidential Election. Former MPs, Piyasiri Wijenayaka, Ashoka Wadigamangawa, Sarath Weerasekara, Anurudhdha Polgampola, Samaraweera Weerawanni, Milroy Fernando, Siripala Amarasinghe, Sarath Keerthirathna, Samansiri Herath, Jayantha Ketagoda, and Ven. Aparakke Punyananda Thero are among the placed bonds for the Presidential candidates
