Water level of reservoirs near hydropower plants increase

Colombo (News 1st): The Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy states that the water level of the reservoirs near hydropower plants has increased to 63.5% due to the prevailing heavy rain. According to its spokesman Sulakshana Jayawardana, daily electricity demand has also dropped considerably.
